How to Select Multiple Files
November 21, 2007
Vista has a new function that allows users to tag multiple files from a directory so that you can call the same action to all of them.
- Go to a Windows Explorer window and hit the ALT key, this will bring up the classic File menu.
- Then in the Tools menu, select Folder Options. From the View tab, tick the box “Use check boxes to select items” click the Apply to Folder button to apply these setting to all your Explorer folders.
- Now when you hover over a file, you can select it and others to copy, delete, or move as a group.
